- What is this, and what do I have to do?
We check what ChatGPT tells patients about your practice, and we work to get you recommended. You send us your practice name, website and town, and we email you a report with every fix written out. We tell you exactly what to change, and your web person makes the change. You keep control. We never ask for your passwords.
- Is Bright Named related to Bright Money or Brighter Naming?
No. Bright Named is a separate company that checks how AI tools like ChatGPT describe dental and med-spa practices.
- Who is it for?
Independent dental practices and med spas in the US. One report covers one location. Our questions are written for US towns.
- How does it work?
You send us your practice name, website and town. We ask ChatGPT what your patients ask: 15 questions about your town, 3 times each, and we save every answer. You get your report by email: who ChatGPT names, what it gets wrong about you, and a to-do list to hand to your web person.
- What does the report check?
Wrong name, address or phone details. Whether ChatGPT names you, using OpenAI's official service with web search on. Gemini, Google's AI, is planned but not switched on yet. Up to 3 other practices it names most. Whether your website blocks AI tools from reading it.
- What is in the free report?
First, any wrong name, address or phone number. Then how often ChatGPT named you when we asked 15 patient questions about your town, 3 times each, next to the 3 practices it named most. Last, a list of exactly what to fix.
- What does it cost?
Your first report is free. Report: $75 one time. Monitor: $39 a month. Managed: $399 a month for the first location (coming soon, not for sale yet). Paid prices are plus any tax that applies. If you start Managed within 30 days of buying a Report, the $75 you paid counts toward your first Managed month. It never counts toward Monitor, can't be paid out in cash, doesn't apply to a refunded or disputed Report, and ends if you cancel. Month to month, with no setup fee and no minimum term.
- Do you make the changes for me?
Not yet. We write each fix out word for word, so your web person can copy it in. Managed, where we publish approved pages for you, is coming soon, but you can't buy it yet. It is for WordPress sites only. When it opens, you will add Bright Named as a separate Editor user with an Application Password, a key WordPress makes just for us, so you never share your own login. You can remove it at any time. Nothing goes live on your site without your written OK. We will never read form entries or patient data, and never use an admin login. Every change can be undone. You keep control. We never ask for your passwords.
- Can you get my practice named first by ChatGPT?
No, and nobody honest can promise that. We show you how often you are named and what to fix, such as a wrong phone number or a setting that blocks AI tools. We don't yet have proof that these fixes change what ChatGPT says. With Monitor, we check again every month, so you can see whether your numbers move.
- Why did I get a report I did not ask for?
We make some first reports before anyone asks, using only public information: your website and the answers AI tools gave. We send one short message through your website's contact form with a private link to the report. If you do not reply, we do not write again. If you lost the link, ask us to resend it. If you do not want the report, use the remove link and we will delete your report, the stored answers and our notes about your practice, and not contact you again.
- Have you sent a report to a practice yet?
Not yet. We haven't sent our first report to a practice yet. The report engine is built and tested on sample data. The sample report on this site uses a fictional practice and made-up answers, and says so on every page.
- Which AI tools do you check?
Today we check ChatGPT only, through OpenAI's official developer API with web search turned on. Gemini, answering from model knowledge without search through Google's official developer API, is planned as a second, separate set of numbers. It is not switched on yet, so reports do not check Gemini today. We do not check Google AI Overviews, Claude or Perplexity answers.
- Why might my results differ from what I see when I ask ChatGPT myself?
Your own ChatGPT app knows your history and location, and its answers also change from one try to the next. That is why we ask each question several times and report how often you were named, not one answer.
- What will you not do?
We do not seed Reddit or Quora, create fake accounts, write fake reviews, ask for your passwords, or promise rankings or "#1 in ChatGPT". We measure, we explain what we found, and we tell you exactly what to change.
- Who makes the reports?
AI agents. They run the questions, read the answers, write the report and answer email. We say so on every report, and every run is written to a signed log so a report can be checked against what was asked and when.
- What does "wrong details" mean?
Your practice name, address or phone number doesn't match everywhere it appears. For example, the phone number hidden in your website's code is different from the one on the page. ChatGPT reads both, so it may not know which is right.
- What is llms.txt, and do I need one?
It is a short text file that sums up your site for AI tools. It is optional and not an official standard. We check if you have one and can write one for your web person, but we don't claim it gets you named more.
- Do you need access to my website, accounts or patient records?
No. The free report uses only public information: your website and the answers AI tools give. We never ask for your passwords. The free report never asks for a card. Please do not send us patient information of any kind.
- How can I check that a report was not made up?
We save a record of every question before we ask it and again when the answer comes back. Each record is linked to the one before it by a hash, and each stored answer is signed with Wayreceipt, so a changed or deleted record shows. We can give you the records for your own reports so you can check them yourself.
- How do billing, refunds and cancelling work?
Report: $75 Report delivered within 5 business days or your money back. There is no refund after delivery. Monitor and Managed: billing renews each month on the date you signed up. Cancel yourself at any time through the manage-billing link in your billing emails, or reply to any report email and ask us to cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge. There is no refund for a partial month.
- How long do you keep my data?
12 months from the date of each report, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will confirm by email.
